My approach to photo sessions...

I love to capture authentic images that represent you & your family at your present stage in life. We'll absolutely get those smile at the camera shots, but that's not how your family does real life, right? You play, laugh, snuggle, and interact with each other and that's what I seek to capture!

Why I find joy in photographing people...

I love history. I value what you can learn from history, especially your family's history. As a photographer I love to create beautiful images, but I want to go beyond creating visual memories for your family. Beyond cataloging how your children look from year to year. Beyond creating pretty pictures to hang on the wall. I want to help you create nostalgia for future generations of your family by creating images that add to your family's visual history and legacy.

Outside of photography, you can find me...

...hanging out with my family, including my rad 7 year old son with the most amazing mop top curly hair. In my free time, you can find me reading, hiking, or fighting ground squirrels in my garden. A few other things to know about me: I'm super short at only 5', love all things turquoise, and firmly believe Reese's peanut butter cups rule the candy world.
